Spiritual Experiences
Keseena’s personality and character have been strongly forged by her different experiences.

Spiritual Experiences
While those include her work, her travelling escapes and her personal projects, a great part of her spiritual experienceshelped to consolidate the lady she now is today. She does not think of herself as a religious person but more of a spiritual being; she enjoys discovering new religious practices and retaining the primordial and useful aspects of each one of them.
Growing up in a religious family, she was introduced to religious events even then and participated in several meditation programs with her family.

Vipassana Meditation Technique
A few years ago in Cape Town, she did a “Vipassana (to see things as they really are) 10 days silent meditation retreat”; It involves observing your thoughts and emotions as they are, without judging or dwelling on them - an experience she would highly recommend to everyone.

Ayahuasca Experiences in Brazil
Ayahuasca Experiences in Brazil
During her travelling there, Keseena has had the opportunity to do two Ayahuasca experiences.
Indigenous people in countries like Colombia and Peru have been brewing the concoction for thousands of years, mostly for religious or spiritual purposes. It’s considered a medicine, a way to heal internal wounds and reconnect with nature - the experiences, mind-blowing her, have created positive, long-term and life-altering changes, which she considers to try again at a certain point in her life.

Temazcal Experience - Rosemary Dream
During her time in Brazil, Keseena also had the chance to experiment the “Temazcal” ceremony - It involves participants sitting in a traditional sweat lodge for health and therapeutic benefits. Ceremonies usually last for two or more hours and are typically led by a spiritual leader called a shaman or “temazcalero”. The natural benefits to the participants including relief to depressions syndromes and removal of toxins from the body.
